Saturday Spotlight – Green shopping with JELLY

9

I don’t know about you, but before I became a mum I used to like going clothes shopping, and since my daughter was born I am finding that shopping for her is even more fun and so much easier as well!

She looks good in anything, nothing makes her look silly, too skinny or too chubby or plain weird – in the worst case scenario she makes me laugh…and we don’t have to queue for changing rooms either..!

My secret boutique is called JELLY and is located in Exeter, Devon. It is a charity shop run by Exeter Community Initiatives but, as it says in its description, JELLY is a shop with a difference.

It offers the most beautiful clothes for boys and girls, from newborns to school age. It also has lots of toys, books, baby equipment and accessories.

We love going there as we always get such a warm welcome from Liddi who is like one great beam of sunshine on a rainy day. If you need a top-up of sunshine and positive energy go and see Liddi for free!

It was actually when we visited last that we found these lovely chunky blocks – perfect for babies to play with. These have turned out to be a great source of inspiration for our latest curtain design:

I can’t resist sharing a pic of these supercute mouse shoes with proper whiskers we bought – thank you to the lovely person who brought them to the shop!
